Open Question: plan b, pre-cum pregnancy?!?

i'm supposed to get my period sometime soon either tonite or tommorow. me and my boyfriend didn't have sex but he just had like the tip on the outside of my vagina and he had a condom on but he had touched the outside of the condom at first and there might of been pre-ejaculate. this was on july 3rd, todays july 4th and i just took the first dose of plan b to be safe. if i don't get my period soon is this because of the medicine? or should i take a pregnancy test? let me just say i'm extremly paranoid because i'm only 15 and i have my whole life ahead of me. can somebody just give me some information about whats gonna happen and what i should do and what not? other info: -he didn't go in, and he didnt like ejaculate either. -my periods been regular ever since i first got it. -it usually last like 3 or 4 days and is like every 29-30 days. this is probably too much information but i am so scared and i need help! more

I've been on th pill (microgynon 30) since June 2008. I've just had my 7 day break and started my new pack Friday. Haven't took todays pill yet. So I've only taken 3 pills in this new pack. But I'm just wondering can I become pregnant if I don't take any more pills?? I'm seeing my boyfriend friday till sunday so we are going to be having sex. I worked out when I would be ovulating which would be this weekend according to the ovulation calculator. But would there be a chance of pregnancy if I didn't take no more pills? Me and my boyfriend have talked about trying for a baby so he's completely fine about it. He's always talking about one actually. We have been together for 3 years and 7 months so it's not like we have only just met etc. And we hardly have any arguments (part from the usual ones which all couples have) So yeah if there is any chance of becoming pregnant this month - what would be the chance/percentage? It's what we feel that counts not what anyone says to us..if you know what I meanI don't spend all time with my friends. They live far away from me. Or they are busy with there own lives etc. So it won't be no different to what it's like now apart from looking after a baby.I won't be giving up seeing my friends anyway. I will take the baby with me to hang around with them. It's not all bad when you got family supporting you. someone whos 2years younger than me had her baby, none of them have jobs and they don't find it as hard as they thought.I don't mind if I'm not married and have a kid. It don't bother me as I know for sure my boyfriend is the one I'm going to marry as he's gunna be proposing soon. more

Resolved Question: grrr, so what am i doing wrong - or do we really have NO control over it?

my last pregnancy - i had my son 12 days early. i did NOTHING to try and bring labor on...it just happened unexpectedly and i wasn't ready... as of today i am 10 days till my due date...i went to the dr. last tuesday and that dr. told me i was 'completely ready' we were just waiting for the baby to decide to come.... and he said he thought this baby would come around the same time as my last baby (around 2 weeks early).... as of today, i am STILL only 2 cm. dialated...and the dr. (from todays appt) told me - it'll be in the next week... OK, except the dr. (from last week) said that! and when i told him the dr. (from last week) said it was basically up to the baby to decide when labor would start (since my body is totally ready) the dr. (today) said that he really doesn't think the baby has too much say in when labor starts?!?!?! - SO he was telling me my body has just stalled?!?!??! then he told me to stay active...grrrrr. OK, last week i was told - i'm a good 2 cm. dialated, cervix is completely ready, bag bulging.... since then, we had SEX several times (sorry tmi) we walked, walked walked, ate spicy food and massaged my feet...i've cleaned my BUTT off cuz i keep thinking 'tomorrows the day'... and NOTHING. i officially think EVERYTHING is an 'old wives tale'...and i give up! ugh.i just want to get the 'labor' over... i, like most women, had a really awful labor last time and the thought of being in the labor and delivery room almost makes me hyperventilate...so (as with most things that scare me) i just want to get it over with. :( more

me and my partner had unprotected sex a couple of times and i always caught my period, so the the pull out method worked for us numerous times before but the last time i had my period was the week of the may 7th and now (todays date june 4th) im still on the lookout and it may be too early to catch my period since i dont really keep track of it calender wise like i should.... but even if i was pregnant this time i havent had ANY symptoms at all, the last time we had sex was about 3 weeks ago, shouldnt i be feeling something by now if i was?? more

can sudden weight gain be an early sign of pregnancy? my mum said sometimes it can be because i all of sudden put on 5 pounds and i never put weight on even though i eat like a pig and then i weighed myself todays later and put on another pound. i keep getting pains in my stomach but my period hasnt came yet but i know its only one day late so thats sometime normali know babies dont grow that fast but my mum who had 12 kids and my aunt who had 6 kids and aso deals with babies said you can gain weight sometimes at the begining and then probaly will loose it. i dont know who it works more

Resolved Question: Due Monday, throwing up all day, even water?

I had my membranes stripped Tuesday, and had a little bit of spotting right after but nothing more. The next day i had cramping every 10 minutes for an hour. I've had sharp pains in my groin area, my legs cramp at night too. Todays saturday and last night and all day today i've been getting sick. this morning i had cereal and drank some water after and threw up water first then the cereal. same thing happened with my lunch and the pita i just tried to eat. havent had any more regular cramping just random ones here and there. my stomach gets really hard too but nothing consistant and no pain. this is my first pregnancy, im due Monday. and he is still moving around, i would say not as much though. is this just my body getting ready? has anyone else had something like this?oh ya and i lost some of my mucus plug tuesday and wednesday but nothing more more

I just need to vent! I am on my second round of clomid and I am 10 dpo today. I thought for sure I was having pregnancy symptoms. I have been getting nauseous after I eat, slight cramping, diarrhea then constipation (which is not normal for me), sore boobs, etc. I took a test today with fmu and is was a BFN. We have been ttc since October. I am so happy for others that got their BFP's but I am also a little jealous. Two of my contacts got theirs this week, the lady across the hall from where I work is pregnant, my SIL is 2 months pregnant, I just saw 2 people I went to high school with in the birth announcements in todays paper. I can't stand it anymore. What is wrong with me? I have totally cut out caffeine and started eating breakfast along with taking a prenatal vitamin. took a test today it was a first response one and the test window came up before the control one. It was a very pale colour in the positive window but you could definately see it! the negative side was much darker though! I have an appointment with the doctors for Friday but taking a clear blue test tomorrow to find out how far along i am! thank you so much to everyone in TTC for all your help ill still be here to help as much as i can and update you on my pregnancy! I was due 2 have my period on april 8,2009 but it never showed, instead i had cramping and lower back aches and sum minor headaches for about 6days straight and sum bloated tight feelings in my lower belly, which i never experienced b4. On the 7th day i ended up getting my period later on that day. I had bad cramps 2 da point of tearing up, and my period was average on the bleeding. the next day it was normal with no pain. but thursday the 16th it stopped alittle and was sexually active on that day. The nxt days was light in bleeding and the nxt 3days was light brown. Hello, my Husband and I were intimate this afternoon. My NuvaRing fell out, and I didn't find it until 8 hours later. I washed it off, and re-inserted it. Resolved Question: How did you feel in early pregnancy?

Last period was on 2/14 (yeahh i know, valentines, ughh) but my cycles can be from 22-34 days long... very irregular. I found out I was pregnant yesterday (now todays day 46 past period) and I have no idea how far along I am, only guesses. So I'm wondering, when you had to pee this early, did you have cramping come along with that? Is that a bad sign or normal? And when I get really upset and cry a lot, I get a new, sharp stabbing pain up in the region of my right kidney, just under my ribcage. Is this a bad sign or just weird? I mean my ovaries and fallopian tubes are much lower, right? And today I just felt sick to my stomach for the first time. Ok so for the past couple of weeks i've been binging on chocolate so i'm trying to cut down and eat alot healthier. What do you think of todays meals? Cereal - Oats and more - Basically oats and branflakes Lunch - Toast (brown bread) Dinner - Chicken breast grilled, new potatoes, brocolli and a handful of wholegrain rice. Desert - Apples, bananas and mandarins in natural yoghurt Supper - Cheese sandwich (wholegrain bread) Tomorrow Cereal - Oats and more Lunch - Tuna sandwich Dinner - Homemade vegetable soup, not decided for main course as of yet but will be something decent i imagine. Desert - Fruit and yoghurt Supper - Some more of todays soup with toast Do you think if i carry on eating like this i'll be ok? I know that tuna is only allowed once a week, which i do have once a week cause i'm craving the stuff. I just don't want to gain excess weight or be totally unhealthy as i've noticed in the past few weeks i've gained alot in my legs and arms because of eating too much sh*t food basically. Going to start swimming too, do you think this is good exercise?I know i'll gain weight, i mean i don't want to gain unnecessary weight though from eating too much junk food. Im a teenager myself and im not perfect. im 14 and shameful to say i have friends that steal and i occassionaly smoke. But when it comes to religion and culture, why are teenagers so disrespectful? They have no self respect or personal values. Im not trying to betray my own generation, but why is it that theres such a huge problem with drug use, knife crime and teenage pregnancy in todays world...Is it lack of upbringing or down to bad role models such as Amy Winehouse? Ok im going to describe my situation as best i can. well on feb. 16th 2009 i found out i was pregnant. so i have been going to the ob/gyn for check ups once a week to make sure im on track. the doctor i go to is just a quack!!! Usually with an ultra sound they are supposed to be able to tell how far along a woman is. or by the HCG readings and also by last menstrual period. they havent been able to give me an estimate of how far along i am what so ever. for the past couple weeks i keep getting told im about 4 weeks. how can i be 4 weeks for 2 weeks in a row?? any ways... well on my last ultrasound the yolk sac finally showed up in the gestational sac. But there is still no embryo or fetal pole. and they right away told me its highly most likely a miscarriage. and last time i had my quants checked they were 2,844. now todays results were in the 16,000's. could it be that im just to early to see any of what they expect to see?? or could i really be miss carrying??? please advice?? im really scared.. this is my first pregnancy.. more

I have an older brother and younger sister. When I was three months old, my grandparents, Guy and Carolyn Richardson, took me in. Shortly after that, they got full custody of me. In 2003, I was at a church camp in Binger, Oklahoma. At this time I was ten years old, I had grown up hearing of this guy everyone called Jesus. He supposedly could change your life, and created everything. I found that extremely hard to believe. July 16, 2003, I was saved. From that day on, I knew everything I had heard about Jesus was true. I knew he had changed my life, and will continue changing it. I had long road ahead of me. My grandparents provided me shelter, food, and most importantly loved me. October 3, 2005, I lost my grandma. Carolyn Richardson was the woman I called mom. She was my best friend. I had no one else. Losing her, It was like a shot right through my heart, because her death was so unexpected. Being three years old, I did not have to feel the pain of losing a sibling. Now, I think about how different my life would be if my little brother was here today. It’s a hard thing to grasp, but I am glad that He is in Heaven right now. I remember praying and asking God to say hello to my baby brother for me. It’s strange how you can love someone so much, but never even met them. Without God, I would not have made it through all my struggles. My friends were when they could be, but that wasn’t always enough. Many times, I just wanted to give up on life and call it quits. Every time I thought I was alone crying, God was right there. Every time my mother has called drunk or high, God has been there. I have refused to realize that. I have never been alone this whole time. Through all my struggles, I have realized my passion for helping hurting people. God has always been there for me and now its time I let others know he can be there for them. The night my grandma died, it showed me God really does answer prayers. I prayed every night he would take away the pain my grandma was feeling. It may have taken him a while, and he may not healed her the way I wanted him to, but he did heal her. She is in Heaven now pain-free. She is with my baby brother. I, now, have two guardian angels. I have also prayed that God would show me something I could thank my mother for. I thank her for being the reason I will never pick up a drug. She helped me realize what I needed to do with my life. As much pain as my mother has caused me, I love her more than you will ever know. After sixteen years, I still have hope that she will lay down the drugs. God is the reason I still have hope. I want everyone to know the love of God that I know. I want to tell everyone who feels like giving up that they have the power to change the world. Helping the hurting is my passion, but my dream is showing everyone love and compassion is my dream. more

Okay so I have been ttc for like 3 months.. this month i decided to step it up, my last period or failed attempt as I call it was February 11th, I did an ovulation kit and it said it came up positive on Feb 24th, according to online sights I should have ovulated February 25th. Baby danced on February 24th, a few days later I started to feel different, crampy and tingling butterfly like feelings in my stomach.the other night i woke up in the middle of the night and my stomach just felt so strange.. i am extremelly bloated and my lower back hurts.. I still feel very crampy during the day but its not all of the time. I should be getting my period March 11th, but I've never had pre-period cramping before I could only tell my period is coming like the day before that is why i'm trying not to get my hopes up. I've been very tired, my boobs are sore but not especially sore. Also yesterday I had egg white colored cm and now today it is clear. I started testing my bbt 5 days ago.. the temps for the last five days including todays are as follows: Feb 4-96.51 Feb 5- 96.90 Feb 6- 97.30 Feb 7- 97.10 feb 8- 96.73 feb 9- 97.41 also my cramps arent like in the middle of my stomach all the time they are also on my sides...and these past two mornings i have woken up with really bad cramps that I thought i had my period went to check and nothing... i just took a clear blue digital pregnancy test not with first of the morning urine and i already urined a few hours ago so i know this might be why that came back negative.. please let me know what you think! more

I had spotting on feb 19th than a full flow period on the 20th. (im not sure what to consider my period or the cycle 1) I had a positive ovulation test on the 5th of march and had a bunch of egg white cervical mucus and some cramping. and on the 6th of march I had pains on my right side and a bit of cramping and also a positive on ovulation test. on the 7th I had nothing. and todays the 8th and the cramping is back and it was severe in the middle and a bit of dizziness. Now I know it is too early for pregnancy symptoms. but is it too early for implantation? my husband and I BD on the 1st, 3rd and 5th. im confused at when I ovulated. my periods usually last 3 days of full flow red blood than old blood for like 2-3 days..Last month I ovulated when I got my pap done on the 4th of feb. but this month is confusing. I am also taking calcium and prenatals perscribed from my doctor. so I am not sure if those are making me feel crampy and dizzy. more

Resolved Question: Could my pregnancy test be a positive?

I took a test this morning and the one line was really dark but the line for positive was extremely faint but it did catch my eye and you can see it I have taken other tests like it but never noticed a line even an extremely faint one could it be a positive or what. I went for a scan today as i have suffered 4 miscarriages & they wanted to scan me early. My last period was jan 15th so i thought i was coming up to 6 weeks pregnant. Anyway, the scan showed a 4-5 weeks pregnancy sac, they couldn't see anything in it & said that there is a small chance it is ectopic. I had some bloods which showed my hormone levels were well over 3000 & they were happy with these but used todays hormone levels as a guide & will repeat them on thursday, they are looking for them to double & would then book me in a week later for another scan. Anyway, the scan was a vaginal scan, & was painful, the nurse had to press on my left side. Since having the scan i am having cramping & i am bleeding :( i haven't bled in this pregnancy until now & its knocked me sideways. I'm so gutted. Do you think i am having another miscarriage?? I called A&E, they want me to go in & be admitted, but after suffering 4 miscarriages already i just want to be at home (obviously unless i get severe pain) I'm so confused & upset more

It was that simple and in that HOPELESSNESS and SELFISHNESS I did think that. Resolved Question: Hard cervix 3 days? Possible pg or not?

We had sex on the 24-25th and OV should have been the 25 or 26th. I have felt mild cramping for about 4 days now and my cervix had gone back and forth from really really hard and narrow to barely able to feel it. I'm really confused. Is this normal right before menstruation or a possible pregnancy? I was never much into feeling the cervix except for around ovulation and would love opinions. If I don't get my period today or tomorrow, it will be late. Right now its not late, just not on day 26 like it usually is. Todays day 27 but my cycle can be up to 29 days so I'm not sure... im only 18. and for the past 2 weeks ive felt sick to my stomach every day. i throw up most days, some days i just hold it back. every food seems disgusting to me, even things that used to be my favorite. the only things i cant get enough of is like ham, and chocolate covered pretzels.. those are the only things i can really hold down. i heard that constipation is a symptom of pregnancy as well, although its not very common, but for the first time in my life, the past week ive been constipated like twice. i feel like the world is spinning and i really honestly feel like im about to hurl every second sometimes i have to pull over my car to the side of the road to throw up. i cant get enough sleep .. (i go to bed around midnight and cant wake up before like 11 or 12 the next day.. and i take a nap around 3 or 4 every day, too.) the only thing thats throwing me off is im on birth control, which i took my last pill on sunday which would make my period come on monday. it didnt come until wednesday, where it was bleeding, and very crampy, but after like a couple hours on wednesday it slowed down to barely anything its too light to even wear a tampon. since todays saturday, im supposed to start my new pack of pills tomorrow, but im scared. everyone keeps asking me whats wrong, because i cant eat anything, and all i want to do is lay down or sleep because im so damn tired. today my best friend asked me if i was pregnant, and i was like no , i have my period. but it got me thinking. and i read online that you can spot if your pregnant, but not usually heavy bleeding like i had on wednesday. im going to the ob-gyn on friday, so should i just get my new pack of pills tomorrow and take them until then? if i am pregnant, then im guessing my conception date was around december 17.. would these symptoms im having be common or normal for that date? since they started about 2 weeks ago.. more

Hi, I am trying to get pregnant. And was wondering if I was on a 27 day cycle and my last period commenced on 3/1/09 how many days would I be past ovulation, how do they calculate it. According the my cycle I should of ovulated on 15th, so when calculating do you count forward to todays date 22/1/09 including the 15th = 8DPO or do you calculate from the day after ovulation 16th - 7DPO. Just curious as to how they works this out. more

I have confirmation today that i am pregnant, they couldn't tell me for sure how many weeks or month i am but they used this calendar thing that just told them from the last day of menstrual to todays date. okay so heres the whole story. well todays the 2nd of january and on december 5th i had sex with my boyfriend and used a condom for half the time but then took it off and continued well maybe a week later i started having to pee alot so i searched on here about it and i thought that maybe i was pregnant and i searched the other sympyoms i had like i didnt start my period when it usually starts on the 4th or right around their. and my breasts were tender feeling but hardly at all then when i ate it felt weird and i couldnt eat even half a bowl. i started bleeding in the 12th this month and it never starts that day and so i got a suppper cheep pregnancy test and took it the day i started bleeding and it said negative but i ended up taking the test wrong. the bleeding was unusual it was not as heavy as usual and i ususaly cramp really bad the first 2 days and then the bleeding stopped after four days so im not sure and i really cant go out and get another test right now i have no way to go their im 16 so i need some help/advice and at this point i really dont need to hear of your 16 and lectures like that, but a little while ago i started spotting it seemed like i had to pee alot, i sometimes had diarrhea or constipation, i had been burping and passing gas alot, was amd still am extremely tired i had back aces too/ but now i dont have any more symptoms of any of this if i were pregnant i would be one month pregnant so could you tell me if this is usual and my chances of being pregnant, once again i woulsd really apreseate it if i was not lectured about my ago i dont want to be judged i have a very suportive family and boyfriend i have been dating for a year and 7 months. i love him and hes the only perosn i have ever done this with. thank you for all of your help more

I found out that I was pregnant a little over a week ago. Then I had cramping and some bleeding on Dec. 23. Since then I have had light bleeding on and off (except for today). I had my blood drawn on the 23rd and again this morning. They gave me the results but I don't know how to read them. My Dr. office is closed today. The original draw was 372.60 and todays draw was 630.00. Is this a safe rise in hcg for a pregnancy? I thouht I was miscarrying. ???? more
