Resolved Question: Could you please offer me ideas for potential biology jobs?
I am currently taking a degree: BSc Biology. I'm in my third year but will not be graduating until next year (I was ill and missed two of my exams in January, I have to take them in August which is after '09 graduation). I am expecting to pass with either a 2:2 or a 2:1, most likely a 2:2 but I am striving for a 2:1. Most of my course has been focused on ecology, animal behaviour, basic biochemistry, a small amount on plant biology, marine life areas of oceanography, and environmental science focusing specifically on pollution. What jobs can I look for that do not require a masters or phD, and pay in the region of 18K+ a year? I have calculated that this is the amount I need to earn in order to live 'comfortably' after finishing my studies. Please bear in mind that I have been searching for jobs for the whole 3 years I have been at uni and so far nothing I've found has been worth applying for. I am adamantly against going into teaching and I do not have a driving license (and have no intention of getting one) so please do not suggest a career as an environmental officer as ironically those posts require a full driving license. I quite like writing but did not take English at A level (A* at GCSE though) and writing jobs seem to be for medicine graduates or biomeds but most definitely not biologists. If you can tell me of a writing job for biologists that meets my requirements then that would be great! I wouldn't mind working in a lab, but those posts tend to go to people with 'experience'... they never seem to explain what they mean by that word. I have experience on basic lab safety, I've completed lab based coursework and one of my final year projects was also based in a lab, so is that good enough? Or do they mean spending a year working for a company in a laboratory-type setting? Any ideas you have or any job offers *crossing fingers but muttering that it's so unlikely it will never happen* will be gratefully received. moreResolved Question: i want to apply for a masters scholarship in botany and environmental science?

I am currently studying the Btec national diploma in applied science but I can't currently get the grades to get into teaching. Ive decided to do a degree in environmental science preferably with education but there are other courses I could do it with. Anyway I was just wondering after I get my degree in environmental science with education could I proceed directly to a masters degree in teaching or education instead of having to do an ordinary degree in teaching moreResolved Question: ways on writing a thisis on rainfall charteristic?
